Family Milestones & Transitions
This summer held so much life, movement, and change. At the heart of it was family: our eldest daughter graduated from high school (after the marathon of IB exams) with full fanfare of pomp, circumstance and plenty of parties, followed by European interrail adventures and a tour together of her new city and university in Barcelona.
A true rite of passage for her—and for me, a season of letting go.

Our younger daughter also finished major IGCSE exams and celebrated with end-of-year fun, reminding me that transitions come in layers. And yes, I am holding on to every moment with her as I see just how fast this time together passes by.

Rituals of Home and Community
Alongside all that, our home in the south of France became (as always!) a gathering place—welcoming countless friends and family, weekly market mornings filled with neighbor-grown produce, daily fresh bread runs, and the joy of seeing the same familiar faces in the village year after year.

Mornings, Movement & Mediterranean Moments
There were sunrise swims in the Mediterranean with my husband and daughters,
long forest walks with the dogs,

e-bike rides and hikes with refreshing dips along the stunning Sentier du Littoral,

and hot afternoons spent in and on the water. Simple, grounding rituals of nature and movement stitched my days together.
Meals, Movies & Memory-Making
There were naps with dogs piled on top of me,

outdoor meals under the summer sky,
and traditions like our annual open-air cinema nights—this summer, Mission Impossible in Monaco and new to our routine, Top Gun in Cascais.
Solo Time & the Return to Teaching
We ended the summer with a girls’ road trip,
and I carved out a few solo days in Athens

before heading to Amorgos Island to assist and teach alongside my mentor and dear friend Sheila with Seek Yoga and Travel.

The full moon eclipse over the Aegean Sea pretty much sealed the summer bucket list for me. Truly a full, beautiful season.
Books, Podcasts, and a Move
I also listened to hours of soulful podcasts, read inspiring books (and re-read a few old friends like The Alchemist and The Gifts of Imperfection), and oh—did I mention we packed and moved houses at the start of the summer?

That set the tone for all that followed.
What I Didn’t Do (And Why That Mattered)
What I didn’t do this summer: finish the movement library membership (it will launch mid-October!), refresh my website, or plan out social media posts. I also haven’t yet shared my fall pop-up classes, the new ReSet schedule, or my limited private openings for small group + 1:1 yoga clients.
These are coming soon, and I’d love to welcome you in if you’ve been waiting for the right moment.

What began as unintentional silence here and on social became deeply freeing. It affirmed something I wrote about before summer—being discerning with where I spend my time and who I give it to. I walked that walk. For me, structure and discipline still have their place, but so does flow.
When I am in flow, things feel authentic and unforced—and that’s what I want to carry forward into this new season ahead.
A Full Fall Ahead
Now, as the school year is in full force (one daughter stepping into IB, the other launching in Barcelona (wish me luck, I get teary just writing this and prepare to fly with her tomorrow), I’m preparing to welcome women from across the globe to our sold-out ReCode Retreat in Portugal, October 4–10th, with my partner Amanda Archibald of The Genomic Kitchen.
The plans are solidified, and I cannot wait to gather this cross-generational group of women for a week of movement, culture, personal learning and fun.

Looking Toward 2026 + 2027 Retreats
If this resonates with you, stay tuned—later this fall I’ll be announcing my 2026/2027 retreat schedule in Italy, Greece and if all stars align, perhaps Portugal and France! (You can register your interest here to be the first to know when we open registration for upcoming DNA Wellness Retreats.)
These journeys are truly special, and I’d love for you, your friends and family to be part of them.

May This Season Invite You In
May the turning of seasons invite you to notice where structure supports you, and where flow wants to guide you.
Be well,
